A 33-year-old man murdered his wife due to her addiction to liquor and cigarettes.
Brijesh Pal, a resident of Pandesara, who was arrested for his wife's murder, confessed to the crime under the influence of alcohol.
Pal had murdered his wife Hiravati in December 2010 with the help of his brother-in-law Vinod Pal.
The murder went undetected until recently when Pal, under the influence of liquor himself, confessed to the crime before his relatives.
During questioning, Pal informed the police that he was upset with his wife's liquor and cigarette addition and hence committed the crime.
Pal also told police that his wife committed adultery.
